Health and temperament have always been our first concern.  I am very proud of
the fact that we have  CHIC numbers on every dog we own going all the way back
to Trixie our foundation bitch. These are issued through the Canine Health
Information Center. All testing can be viewed on my web site and cross referenced
on the OFA web site. In order to obtain a CHIC number a dog must first have all the
appropriate genetic testing. For buyers, the CHIC program provides accurate
information about the results of a breeder's health testing. The probability that an
animal will develop an inherited disease is greatly reduced when its ancestry has
been tested normal.
